The ABC reported today that scientists are designing robots to be used in rescuing disaster victims and are taking notes from this common household pest.

Researches are studying the cockroaches ability to infiltrate our homes and get into small spaces.

Cockroaches also have the annoying talent of being hard to catch. They run fast, fly and jump.
