To ensure your termite preventative system can be successfully installed, please read and action the below:
Usually, a termite or timber pest inspection is conducted first. If one still needs to be completed, our technician will inspect all rooms of the house, including cupboards, the garage, the roof space, and the property's exterior. If there's a subfloor, we will inspect that, too.
Please note for our safety and to comply with Worksafe requirements, the technician will ask you to turn off the power while they are in the roof.
If drilling is required, holes will be drilled about 400 mm apart and about 150 mm out from the walls.
The technician will apply the Termiticide to the perimeter of the property using various application tools as required.
Once the termite barrier is installed, any drill holes will be filled or capped, and the property will be left in a clean, tidy state.
The technician will advise you when everything is completed and invite you to inspect the treatment area to ensure your satisfaction.
· We need you to move stored items from all external perimeter walls of the house for a 5th year (at least 2m if you can, to allow us access to the treatment area)
· If your property is having its 10th year, we need you to move stored items from all external perimeter walls of the house and ALSO the internal walls of the garage (at least 2m if you can, to allow us access to the treatment area)
· Fish ponds & aviaries should be covered to prevent chemicals from entering
· If your property has a subfloor, please ensure that floor inspection traps are lifted. Failure to do so will result in us being unable to inspect or treat this area.
· Washing should be removed from the line & pet bowls taken inside
· People and pets should remain inside
· We ask that pregnant ladies leave the property during and for 4 hours after the treatment
PLEASE NOTE: A cancellation fee of $150.00 WILL apply to any clients cancelling on the day of the installation of the Termite Preventative System.
If your property has a subfloor remember to ensure that floor traps are lifed, failure to do so will result in us being unable to inspect or treat this area.
